Our policy on revisions, returns, and refunds

1. Introduction

At khiphloxdhor, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with our tailoring and repair services. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for revisions, returns, and refunds.

Due to the custom nature of our services, our return policy differs from that of standard retail businesses. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.

2. Alterations and Repairs

2.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our work. If you are not completely satisfied with any alteration or repair, please bring the garment back within 14 days of pickup, and we will make adjustments at no additional cost.

2.2 Initial Fitting

Most alterations require an initial fitting where we pin and mark the garment according to your specifications. By approving the initial fitting, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the planned alterations.

2.3 Additional Alterations

If, after receiving your altered garment, you wish for additional adjustments beyond what was agreed upon during the initial fitting, these will be treated as new alterations and charged accordingly.

3. Custom Tailoring

3.1 Custom Garment Guarantee

Custom tailoring includes up to two rounds of minor adjustments within 30 days of completion. These adjustments are provided at no additional cost, provided they fall within the scope of reasonable modifications to achieve the agreed-upon fit.

3.2 Design Changes

Once a custom design has been approved and production has begun, design changes may incur additional charges. The fee will depend on the stage of production and the nature of the requested changes.

3.3 Fabric and Materials

Once fabric and materials have been cut for your custom garment, they cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to carefully review and approve all fabric and material samples before production begins.

4. Deposits and Payments

4.1 Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work on custom tailoring projects. This deposit covers the cost of materials, initial pattern making, and labor allocated to your project.

4.2 Cancellations

If you cancel a custom tailoring order after production has begun but before completion, you will be responsible for payment of all work completed up to the point of cancellation, which may exceed the initial deposit amount.

4.3 Refunds

For standard alterations and repairs, if we are unable to satisfactorily adjust your garment to meet the agreed-upon specifications, a full or partial refund may be issued at our discretion.

5. Timeframes

5.1 Pickup Deadline

Completed garments must be picked up within 30 days of notification that the work is complete. After this period, we reserve the right to charge a storage fee of $5 NZD per day.

5.2 Unclaimed Items

Garments not claimed within 90 days of completion may be donated or disposed of. No refunds will be issued for unclaimed items.

6. Damage and Loss

6.1 Our Responsibility

In the rare event that a garment is damaged or lost while in our possession, we will either repair the garment, provide comparable replacement, or offer compensation up to the depreciated value of the item, not to exceed $500 NZD.

6.2 Pre-existing Conditions

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, weak fabric, or defects in garments. We will make every effort to point out potential issues before beginning work but cannot guarantee that all pre-existing conditions will be identified.
